Hi. I have a Maytag gas dryer, about 4 years old. I replaced the Timer. However, the heat comes up in Auto dry mode, goes off after about 5 minutes, it continues to spin/no heat, and the timer does not advance/runs all night?? The heat does not come up at all in timed mode, or the Wrinkle protect mode. It had this exact problem with the old timer too. Lastly, I cleaned the link out of the whole machine, which was a bit of a mess.

I have read that I should relace the Soleniod/coils?

Can anyone shed light on this?
