Kenmore elite will not dispense ice or water ice maker is making ice

Does it make any noise when you push the ice and/or water release levers?

Gene. There is water going to the fridge normaly, but for some reason no water going up to the ice maker/water dispenser. Not sure if there is water flowing through the tubes to where the water is cooled. did replaced new ice maker (still have same problem), and replaced main control board, still nor work. what could have happened???????? GE Refrigerator. Model PSW26MSRBSS

Hi Gene,
My frig. is 6 yrs old. I checked on control board, J1 showed a bin 1 & 2 ( fresh food thermostat) are bad. it read below 10 ohm ( i set 20K) and 3,4 are above 16 ohm. I have not checked for evaporate thermostat and heater yet. I have the water in my dispenser but it not make ice. Do you think Fresh foof thermostat cause the ice maker not function properly? Please advise! thanks,

What is the exact measured temperature in the freezer? Normal ice production requires temperature bellow 10°F.
What is the temperature in the fresh food compartment?

"Exact measured temperature" means that you have to measure it using a refrigerator thermometer.

Yes, it is normal noise from the ice when it is coming out.
