I have a side by side frigidaire. The compressor is running, the two fans are blowing, but the evaporator is not cooling. Am wondering if the system is out of freon, but there are no leaks. Any ideas?

Could be the compressor itself or all the freon has leaked out or a blockage in the sealed system.

In any case this will be an expensive repair as you need a pro. Also there is no guarantee of a long term fix.
Often it makes more sense to put those dollars toward a new unit.

I would check the warranty on the unit as the sealed system is often covered for longer than one year.
Be sure to read the fine print.

Sounds like freon loss, but pull plug and leave off for 24 hours with door open and try again

Good luck,
