There are gaps and it seems that clothing catches in the gap and becomes discolored. It would seem that both seals should be replaced. What does the task entail and approximate repair time? Thanks. Give yourself at least an afternoon. Make yourself diagrams etc. of anything that you may forget how it goes back together. A digital camera comes in handy for this. Open it up and beside the seals also check the belt, rear suspension rollers, idler wheel, front glides etc. for wear and bearing slop. Might as well do an overhaul while you have it open. Give the interior a good clean. Clean and check the blower wheel. Also clean and check your vent system.
