My Admiral washer keeps overfilling on the fill to wash cycle and the fill to rinse cycle . Never stops , major flooding. I replaced the fill level switch . It did not fix it. Do you think it is the timer ? thanks for any help.

the hose going from water level switch down to side of tub may be blocked or part where hose goes to may be blocked or hose may have a leak or be kinked

If the only way to stop the water flow is to turn the taps off then the problem is the fill valve not being able to close.

If you can stop it by unplugging the machine or turning the timer to off then probably a level switch tubing problem.
