1994 Admiral, Designer Series Gas Dryer. Model LNC8744A17, Rev B., Serial 49J410907.
Motor mounts on both ends (blower case & belt drive) have been compressed from the loading of the tension pulley over time. Motor runs great with little shaft end thrust and no side play. Misalignment of motor shaft caused squirrel cage of blower section to rub into the pastic blower case which loaded the squirrrel cage connection to the shaft.

Are the rubber motor mounts replacable? If so, what does it take to do it?

Unfortunately it is a part of the motor.

Gene.
The model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it if you need the part number for the motor.

...I was afraid that was the case. Too bad since motor runs fine.
Model number is actual full model number. I have the motor number on file.
Thanks again.
