Need to replace the water dispenser actuator. What do I need to do to gain access?

Pull the drip tray off which will expose some screws that hold the dispenser face to the door. Remove the screws and lift up and the pull off the dispenser face. It will be attached to the board behind by a ribbon cable. Unplug the refer first, then paying attention to how the ribbon cable connects, remove it. The board behind is held by some screws on the side and just work your way until you can get to the actuator itself. The most difficult part of the repair is getting your hands in some of the tight places, but it shouldn't take to long to get it changed. Put it all back together and plug the refer back in. If the dispenser doesn't work, check the ribbon cable. Hope this helps.
