Ok, got the cooktop apart (see post farther down), switches and ignition module checkout, one igniter is bad...this must be why the igniters fire constantly, but why on all burners, even when the bad burner is not being used? Oh well. Called Viking for parts, had to call a company called "Gateway". They don't have just the igniters, it comes with the burner base for around $28...dumb, since I can see the c-clip that holds the igniter to the base, and I know Viking doesn't make these in-house, but must buy them from and outside vendor.

My question...does anyone know of a source for just igniters for Viking cooktops?

Thanks,
John
