I got a strange problem with my front load Frigidaire that I hope someone had seen it before.

Sometimes the clothes comes our pretty dry like normal and sometimes the clothes are still wet after a complete cycle. Then i have to run an extra drain/spin cycle so that the clothes will be ready for the dryer.

Can i get a hint on how to tackle this problem?

thanks in advance

Check the pump and drain hoses for an obstruction. If that does not fix the problem post a model number and whatever additional info that you have. For example, does the machine shut down or fail to spin in the spin phase of the operation?

Sorry, here are the model and serial number..FTF2140ES3, XC61308276

I clean and drain pump already so I know there are no obstruction there.

It is possible that the final spin cycle is skipped but it is just too boring to sit and watch a wash cycle especially when the problem is inconsistent..

It will run fine in the drain/spin cycle and dries out the wet clothes with is what I have to do when the clothes are still wet.

The machine drains the water properly.

Inside the lower service panel is a tech sheet with instructions on how to put it in service mode and generate some error codes. See if you can do that and learn what the problem is.

Concentrate on the main control board and the motor/speed control board.

Ok, I think I read the error code wrong the first time.. This is the flash sequence in diagnostic mode..

The start LED and other five indicator (door lock, wash, rinse, etc) LED lights (comes up three times, then the column of lights flashes one more time alone.

This means error code E43 right? or is it E31?

Now the washer does not run at all, all I get is the "no spin" light when I push start.. Is it possible that I did not exit the diagnostic mode properly?

I don't know but if you will call in your order with APP and give them both the model number and the serial number they will fix you right up.
