After searching various forums, I have reason to believe that a bad compressor relay may be responsible for my Kenmore fridge not cooling (both Freezer and fridge sections are warm). I removed the back panel of my fridge to locate the compressor relay, but wanted to double-check with the "experts" first before attempting to remove this part. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for this part of the Kenmore fridge or could anyone tell me exactly where this part is located? I have a Kenmore SxS model 253.52342301. Is the compressor relay actually attached to the compressor is it located remotely from the compressor? FYI: The condenser fan, evaporator fans are working. The evaporator looks fine, no frost accumulation or blockage that I can see. Also, I can hear the compressor click on and create a high-pitch "whirring" sound. It stays on for 5-10 seconds and clicks off. Perhaps the relay is good and the compressor is bad? Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Thanks, guys!!!
