1. What can I do to get the old dishwater out, its still in the bottom.:(
2. What do I need to look at for the repair
3. Is this DIY repairable :confused:

----follow-up to my post---
I used a siphon hose with a squeeze pump to dump the water into a bucket, so most of the water is out, except the water in the drain hole. Siphon was bought for kerosene tank for heater, but I don't have the tank.:)
I do not know if the drain pump works or about the solenoid (I read somewhere about these things). I took the kickplate off (yuck). I stuck my hand down in the drain to get foreign objects out the best I could (there were several small items to throw away). It's still in the cabinet space. I'll try and move it tomorrow.:eek:
