Not certain exactly what the part I am referring to is called. It is part of the control panel assembly. The actual rubbery/plastic piece that you press on with your fingers to operate the oven. While I am "fixing" things, I thought I would ask about this part. The part itself is in fine shape. After the first time I had the oven self-clean (yes we have had the common Kitchenaid expensive repairs for this action and do not self clean anymore etc), the edge on one side became detached from the extreme heat of self clean temperatures. The majority of this piece stayed in place. This one area always detaches itself when the oven is heated and then can be pressed back when the oven has cooled, though it isn't as tight or flush as it could be. I will pass by and press it back in place about once a day, depending on use. I have seen "loctite" noted as something available for ordering in the parts section but it isn't clear if this would be an application for it. There is the electronic control panel that I need to consider, I can't afford to use a wrong product or use it incorrectly and create a $500 problem. Any expertise on a dab of appropriate adhesive to keep this item in place? Is loctite the proper product and if so how to use it? What keeps this item in place in the assembly in the first place?

Thank you.
