The face seal between the motor and pump failed, so the motor is shot.

I could used help finding the part number for the motor/pump assembly.

You can go with just the motor and seal kit (click for pics and price) - Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Motor assembly, part number: AP3179651

or for $50 more get the entire assembly - Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Pump and motor assembly, complete, part number: AP3778061

Both are good in stock.
