We bought a house years ago with a GE Potscrubber 700. The model number is GSD700G-02 and just today it stopped draining. The drain never kicked in all of a sudden. It has gone through two complete cycles without draining. Why? Can I fix this?

apparently the solenoid (sp?) valve is rusted and possibly broken. we got it off and it freed us to move the valve manually and the dishwasher drained fine. so can we fix this solenoid or does it have to be replaced? they're expensive!
