We have read similar problems in your forum, but we still cannot figure out what the source of the problem is. At the end of the spin cycle it makes a loud clunking noise, but works fine otherwise. Obviously, the safety feature does not allow the lid to be open during spin cycles. Any suggestions?

Open the lid and manually check if the inner tub is not loose.
Remove the front panel and check the belt, the idler pulley and the tension mechanism.
Gene.
