My chopper in the dishwasher gets clogged with debris requiring a monthly dissembly and cleaning. If I let it go, the water flow to the upper dishwasher is diminished to the point of not cleaning.
Thank you for you assistance in this,
Kevin

Kevin- I have the same problem, I think, I just can't figure out how to get the plastic cover off of the chopper blade.I have removed the accumulator assembly. I removed one screw on the next cover. and have looked at countless diagrams to see what is supposed to come off and can't figure it out. Is there more than one screw to remove that cover? Thanks...I am frustrated.

My dishwasher has one screw to remove the flat protector plate which allows access to the well and round chopper protector. The round chopper protector comes off by removing one screw which holds the round chopper protector in place and is positioned on the left side of the protector (initially requiring a flashlight for me to locate it) and rotating up in a clockwise rotation. I hope this helps.
