accidentaly shorted the night light wire wich came out of the socket,now nothing works .Have power at recepticle,fuse inside microwave is good.C ould it have shorted out the circut board?

Hi romus

Unfortunately my answer is Yes, it could cause a damage to the control board.

If the microwave is less then a year old, it should be under the manufacturer warranty without any charge to you.

If it's more then a year old, any replacement parts for this model you can buy from the Sears only because it's made overseas.
