Yesterday my dryer was working perfect. Now, I choose my settings, the lights all come on, but when I push start, it does not start. The interior light works on the dryer. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks Graham

Here is a tech sheet https://www.servicematters.com/d...eet%20-%20W10156037A.pdfYou said that the drum light works but does it shut off when the door is closed. Next would be the thermal fuse (white), it should be on the blower cover. Next the belt switch, down by the motor probably activated by the idler wheel assembly. If it is the thermal fuse be sure to clean/check your vent system. Also the blower wheel. |

I guess I should have stated that the type of dryer is a Whirlpool Cabrio steam dryer. The model number is WED6600VW0 Graham
