Greetings,

I had an earlier post that was responded to, I just want to make sure I have the correct information.

My GE Profile natural gas dryer is heating intermittently. When it does not heat I hear chattering from the dryer, when the heating works it does not make this sound. It seems when there is a large load in the dryer it is more likely not to work.

I spoke to a call center rep and was told the Gas Valve Coils for my dryer are part number: AP2042925, I posted this question earlier to the board and received the following response:

Hello Pixel. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the coils AP3094251 are bad and will need to be replaced. If the gas lites and then goes out and won't relite, but the coils chatter, they are bad. Hope this helps.
