Ordered a part from Appliance Parts Pros and shipped in one day! But, the diagram has a place to plug a certain plug but the actual part does not have it? What to do? The plug is attached to 2 small black wires that connect to a tube like thingy on the side of the plastic frame.

If you will tell us the model number you have and the part number you were sent we may be able to figure this out.

Thanks

Part was definately missing the plug jack for the switch wire (although it looked more like a fuse). Your diagram showed the plug jack and my old part had the plug jack but the new part did not have a place to plug the switch wire. Reply was taking too long and had to call repair man. He said I could use it without plugging in the switch wire. :(

Well I am sorry APP did not get you that info. Those of us who reply on this Forum do not work for APP, we are volunteers and that is why it took a little longer than it should for us to get back to you.

APP usually does a great job, and if you ever buy a part from them in the future and something like this comes up get on the phone and get them to make it right with you. My experience is that they will do everything they can.

Thanks for the quick reply and your dedicated time. Thing is, I did call and was told to go to the repair forum. No worries, the price was great, the shipping very fast (next day on Saturday) and it's working. The repair man works for Sears, is a friend and cost me a beer!

Ok good, glad the repair did not cost you more than a beer, and thanks for the feedback. I am going to pass this exchange on to APP and see if they cannot improve the flow of communications so we can get to issues like yours quicker.
