Sirs,
I have a Speed Queen top load washer that is several years old. The machine has held up well. Has a stainless steel tub. A few months ago we started getting stain spots on whites, like socks and t-shirts. Looks like it may be oil. If you run your hand along the bottom of the front of the machine you can feel oil. Now she’s leaking water. From what I’ve gathered on the internet, the transmission is leaking the oil. They say it is too expensive to replace because of the parts and labor.
Thanks in advance,

In order to provide most accurate advise we need the complete model of the washer.
