I have an interesting problem. My cat hates his new litter, and pretty much refuses to use it. What he decided to do was pee on the stove. Unfortunately, he pee'd on the burner that has a pipe leading down to the oven and the insulation that surrounds the oven. So now the insulation reeks of cat pee. Is it possible to replace that insulation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Most ovens has insulation blankets that can be replaced, it's just some are easier to do than others. If you provide a make and model number, we can point you in the right direction.

There are several versions of that model, so I will need the entire model number from the serial plate to ensure I am providing the correct information.

Brian Could you just remove some of the insulation and then just repack it instead of replacing the whole blanket?
Sounds like it is time for some cat chow mein!!!

Denman, That is a good idea, but my thoughts are if the cat spent enough time on the range that the customer is noticing the smell, I wound imagine the blanket has been wicking the urine and is most likely is bad shape. Of course forgetting the insulation, what do you suppose the vent tube and oven cavity look like?
