 My oven flashes and beeps a F2 code. It does not get to the temperature it is suppose to. At 350 degrees I can touch the inside and it is hot but not burning.
If I turn the temp. up to 400 it just beeps and tells me it is 400. Sometimes when I turn it up to 450 it will come to temp, but then beeps and flashes F2 and turns off.
The self cleaning cycle works fine, and does not flash any codes. Only when on bake cycle.
Can somebody PLEASE help me?????
Thanks

Here are your parts
Model RGB745BEH5WH

F2 on a Hotpoint comes up as a faulty Oven Sensor item 43 in "Body Parts"
Giving a reading higher tha 590 degrees with the door unlocked.

Here is what it should read
http://www.applianceaid.com/oven_temp_sensors_help.html

Could also be a bad connection in the oven sensor circuit.
The sensor is the most probable cause but does not rule out a control board problem unless the meter measurements confirm that it is defective.
