Recently received this oven used and wanted to test it. Hard wired it to 220 outlet only to find out that at the electrical panel wires were crossed and reversed the polarity. When we turned the breaker on smoke came from the top control panel on the oven. Wiring was corrected but now only the inside light works nothing else. Can I fix it? Do you know what I need to replace? Transformer, fuse, relay panel, etc? Any advise will help!

Here are the parts for a JTP45WD1WW
Model JTP45WD1WW

Can I fix it?
Anything can be fixed but depends on how many dollars you want to invest.
See the above for approximate prices. If the above unit model number is not correct call AppliancePartsPros and they can probably give you the correct pricing for your unit.

Do you know what I need to replace?
You will have to open it up and check all the wiring
The good news is that you had smoke so it should not be hard to find what blew up.
My guess would be that at minimum you will have to replace the control board.
May have also taken out some of the wiring harness, the control panel (keyboard), thermostat or any of the motors.

The problem is getting hold of a wiring diagram so that you can check the parts.

Thank you,
Thats what I thought, I have the wiring diagram. We checked the wiring harness and they look like they are ok. So I think I will start with the control panel. Are there any other things I can check using the wiring diagram?
