No response when pushing the Power button. Replaced the CNTRL-ELEC with no change. Customer Service suggested they sent a defective unit, and sent another--but still no change. Pressing the Start button multiple times (4 seconds pressed, 4 seconds released, repeat) initiates a test cycle that checks all the lights then steps through the eight modes of the History Overview Test Program. No error codes are displayed. Checked for broken or chafed wires (recommended by another thread) and found none. Can the second CNTRL-ELEC be defective and I just need another? What other troubleshooting can I try? Thank you.

Check out the door lock assembly and associated wiring. If the control unit cannot lock the door it will not operate the machine.

Thanks for the suggestion. For some reason, it powered up tonight, but would not indicate each of the wash cycles as I selected through them all (ex. it did not indicate it would do a Normal wash when the selector pointed to Normal---the light still indicated Delicate) but it did complete a selected Rinse & Spin cycle. Door locked properly, and cycle completed correctly. But then it would not turn on again. Suspect a loose wire or connector, but have wiggled all with no success.

Those loose wire connections, or internal shorts are just very difficult to find. I can only say keep looking and good luck.
