Worked fine last evening, but tonight after we turned it on, it filled up and then when it attempted to begin washing, began buzzing for about 2-3 seconds, we could hear water running and then it stopped dead. Have tried to start on 3 more occasions, but the same result.

Remove the toe panel and check for any water marks on the pump motor. If there are any then the motor bearing has gone bad due to water leak.

If there are no water marks then remove the pump cover (#14 on the diagram) and the separator assembly (#9) and check the chopper and the chopper spring (#19). Post the results.
