The door has started falling open with no resistence. Would like to try to repair myself. Problem, part no., instructions? Thanks.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KUDP01FLSS6 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com

Sounds like the spring/linkage has broken or come loose.
Parts involved are 18, 24 , 9 and 17 in Section 7

Remove the kick plate to you can see what has happened.
You will probably have to pull the dishwasher forward about 6 inches to repair this depending on what has happened.

If you click on the parts picture often another page will open with more views and info.
Many parts also have questions, click on the question to get the answer.
