The dishwasher seems to work fine until it gets to the dry cycle. When it gets here it trips the circuit breaker and shuts down the power. Every wash cycle works fine. The problem only happens when the timer hits the dry cycle. Wondering if this is a heater element problem or could it be in the timer switch? The unit has worked fine for years and this problem just started

I'm no expert, but it sounds like your circuit breaker is doing its job, and preventing a fire disaster.

Sounds like you have a short in your heating element.
