Whirlpool DU9400GWD86 will intermittently not spray water to wash the dishes. Opening and closing the door will solve the problem. Leaving the door shut the washer would still go through it cycle of filling and draining, but not washing.

I assume if it was a faulty door switch it would not go through its fill and drain cycles.

Any suggestions or tips? Anyone have a service manual?

Thanks,

Mark

I took the bottom kick plate off and found a schematic and timing diagram for the dishwasher. I checked the resistance of the motor windings and they are fine. It appears that the motor is turning at normal rate but it is not pumping water.

Do the wash windings intermittently go bad and get worse over time or do you think this is something with the pump itself?

Any way to check?

Thanks,

Mark
