Hello, I'm having a small problem with my GE profile dishwasher. I leaves standing water up to the heating element. I searched all previous threads. I also cleaned the sump, and'all the filters. I even pulled off the drain motor thingy and checked the little one-way valves and made sure its all clean, But to avail. What else can be the problem ? I hear the pump run when I hit cancel, I flushed out the drain hose to the disposal. I lost on where to go next. Any and all help will be greatly appriciated. Thankd, David.

Here are your parts Replacement parts for General Electric PDW7880J15SS Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.comI would say that the drain pump is toast. Just because you can hear it does not mean that the impeller in the pump is actually revolving.By the sound of it you have done a thorough job of checking/cleaning the drain water path so that is all that is left. You could try undoing the drain hose at the house plumbing and draining it into a pail. Hold the hose securely in the pail and put a towel over the pail so water does not splash all over the place. This will troubleshoot the house plumbing as a possible cause. |
