I have a GE Profile side-side refrigerator - modelPSS26SGPASS. The refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling completely all of asudden. All controls on the display are working but it does not cool even withthe temperatures set at 0F and 37F. The temperature for freezer andregrigerator stays at 79F. The fan is working fine. I have cleaned thecondenser coil with a vacuum cleaner but it did not fix the problem. The onlynoise I hear is that of the fan. There are no strange noises. The compressorremains cold even after plugging the refrigerator on for 1 hour.

You most probably have a bad motherboard in the back, AP4436216. You can pull it out and check for bad solder connections at the big power relay. Usually, re-soldering them will fix the problem.

Thank you for your response. I will replace the motherboard and let you know if it worked.
