My ice maker failed. I found a burned-out copper run on its control module. I also measured only 60 vac to the control module. I replaced the RECEIVER board and EMITTER board (because line power for the ice maker passes through the RECEIVER board) but the problem was not resolved. I measure 115 vac at the RECEIVER input (pin 3 to 8) but only 60 vac at the RECEIVER output to the ice maker (pins 4 to 8). Any suggestions?

Did you push and hold the emitter flapper door to unblock the optics beam while you've been doing this test? Did you turn the "on-off" switch on the right side "on"?

Thanks for the suggestion Gene. I tried all combinations (depressed/released, on/off, blocked/unblocked) of the switches for the icemaker and freezer door while observing the voltmeter. It always reads 60 vac. I'm giving up.

Check this wire from the board to the plug for continuation. If there is nothing wrong then the board is damaged.
