I have a Kenmore Quiet Guard 3 dishwasher that won't go to the drying cycle. What happens is that after about 45 minutes of washing, the red start light blinks and the dishwasher just stalls. It does not go to the drying cycle which is what should happen. I've tried a reset code: Heated Dry - Normal Wash - Heated Dry - Normal Wash and then Cancel. This worked once but no more. Not sure what to try next. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am having the exact same issue as you are with the same model Kenmore Quietguard. I can usually get the wash cycle to resume as long as I dont open the washer. I just have to press start. I can't figure out what is causing this to happen, so any advice would be great!

I was able to get the dishwasher working normally by turning off the breaker feeding the dishwasher and then removing the control module located behind the pushbuttons. I re-seated all the wires and this seemed to reset the unit and it has been working normally for several weeks now.
