My oven does not turn on..i was (am still) sure it is the oven igniter, but i have a guy looking at my oven and he claims that is the pilot light and he wants to change the entire pipe etc. As I read in other posts my oven igniter does not turn that bright (is kind of orange) so that's why i think the oven does not turn on...But i am not %100 sure how this works. It has to reach a certain temperature so the gas valve kicks in ..there is a temperature switch?

What you guys think? there is a pilot light in this oven?[LEFT]

Thank you

There is no a standing pilot in your oven. Instead it has a flat hot surface igniter. Based on your report this igniter is bad and has to be replaced.

You can learn how oven igniter works from one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...1897-oven-wont-lite.html
