A Tech? that my wife called installed a Supco 3 'n 1 to fix our freezer (Manufacturer. date 8-03) and it worked for about 4 months then when we moved it stopped working again so I thought it might be the part that was installed so I was going to search and buy a new 3 'n 1. Almost everything I have read leads me to believe this is not a good idea. So I would like to replace the 3 'n 1 with the factory parts, I need the Capacitor Run #AP3267296 but don't know what other part are parts are needed. Any help would be appreciated.

You will need a compressor start device AP3211345, what Frigidaire calls a controller. Yes, you are correct in replacing the 3n1. This unit will eventually blow out the start winding in the compressor. Be aware, the tech may have found the compressor would not start without the extra boost a 3n1 gives to the start winding. You may find the compressor will not start with the factory start device. If this is true, you have a burnt start winding that requires a new compressor.

These 3n1's are heavy and a wire may have pulled off the compressor from the move.
