I noticed that a small amount of water is staying in the bottom of the dishwasher and causing quite a smell (located under the round area, not sure if that is the motor or what). I was able to clear the water when manually running the rinse cycle. I've seen quite a few posts regarding similar situations but I'm not sure if the directions are the same since I have a different Model Number. I would GREATLY appreciate any bit of help you could give me. Thanks!

No one dishwasher drains out completely because water used as a lubricant for the pump. A small amount of water under the accumulator assembly (#1 on the break down diagram) is normal.

One of possibilities for the left over water to spoil and start to smell is if you use the dishwasher not very often or you use it as a storage for a dishes.

Gene.
