This dishwasher worked fine up until being stored for about 3 years in a dry clean basement. After reinstall, the timer element will just keep turning (fast) and runs very briefly through all available cycles. Never stops, the timer just keeps spinning. I've observed this after having removed the front panel of the DW. I pulled a block of wires from the left side of the timer housing which stopped the spinning of the timer and was able to advance the timer manually through cycles so I'm not sure if the timer is bad or whatever controls the timer is bad.
To make matters worse, I don't think they even make a timer for this DW any more. See: Part Details - BOSCH Timer No longer available, part number: 092198

So is this DW totally dead? It worked fine washed well all the pumps and motors seem to work. It would be a huge waste to toss this thing as it was fairly expensive to purchase. Seems odd that there would be no support for this thing anymore.

Hi,
I've got the exact same problem. Any solution out there?

Thanks,

Dan
