Older refrigerator -freezer on bottom. When motor goes on, it is too noisy. it cycles off and on. Appliance is riight next to bedroom! SO FAR, I HAVE TO GET UP AT NIGHTAND TURN THE SWITCH TO OFF IN THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT AND THEN TURN IT BACK ON WHEN I GET UP. I think that the refrigerator section has a seperate motor that stays on during the night. Am I right? The fridge is not mine It is provided by the landlord. we like everything else about it. Can't imagine landlord replacing it. What can be done? Many thanks

Here are your parts Replacement parts for BX22RW models | AppliancePartsPros.comI could not find a wiring diagram for this unit but was able to find a diagram for a BX22SE, hopefully it is the same. It shows that the compressor, the condenser/compressor fan and the evaporator/freezer fan are wired in parallel so they are all on at the same time. You will have to determine which of these is causing the racket. If it is the compressor check that the rubber mounting feet and their bolts are OK. |
