Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/15/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		My whirlpool side by side fridge is making a clicking noise. It clicks on then about 5 seconds later it clicks again. The fridge and freezer are still cold and it still makes ice but clicks all day and night, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would check for burnt wires to the compressor. You can try a new starting device AP3885081, but it might not solve the problem. I would monitor the freezer temperature, during peak power use periods, the compressor may not start for a longer than normal period, thus driving the freezer temperature higher.
