My 5 year-old Crosley Shelvador is freezing up too much on the top shelf. There is a ledge along the back near the drain plug that is solid ice (see photo). The dial setting is currently on #2 out of a possible 6, but the ice along the back still did not thaw. I usually have it set on 2 or 3. I also have a small pool of dirty water starting to emerge from underneath the bottom of the fridge, but the water collection tray underneath the fridge is empty.

I called Maytag and Crosley and they couldn't find my serial number, although I copied it correctly from the label. :(
