My washer has a three speed motor with five cycles. The slowest cycle with intermitent agitation does start and stop as it should, but the spin speed is fast, not extra slow. (The spin speed on all cycles is fast and should not be) It seems that the motor switch is at fault. IN the parts section this is called the cycle switch or cyc switch. One of each is pictured; I don't yet know which is the correct one. I thought originally that it was the switch called the motor dtart switch but I don't believe that's the thing at fault.
Found the wiring diagram after I took apart the console.
I'd appreciate some help. Thanks.

Probably a bad speed control switch mounted on the control panel. We usually check it out per the wiring diagram.

Thank you, Rich. After I found the wiring diagram I did just that and found it to be all OK. When I put everything back together it all works properly. Can't explain it, but I'm satisfied for now.
