Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/11/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		I am trying to replace a dryer drum belt on a Maytag electric dryer model MDE9806AYW. How do you get into the cabinet? I've printed the Maytag Dryer Belt Diagram. You have the part. The part # is AP4043963.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Take out the screws in the door hinges that go into the dryer and the ones on the opposite side. The "goalpost" piece will now pull off and you can take off the front and top pieces by taking out screws, (it will be obvious).
