My front loading machine does everything except the final spin. After hours of research, I decided to start with replacing the door lock switch assy. Just ordered my replacement part yesterday, and it arrived today! Thank you Appliancepartspros! Can you please give me some instructions on how to replace this part.
Thank you

I just pulled one out. the newer Frigidaire's allow removal by removing the top and switch screws and just reaching in the top to pull it out. Put 115 volts to the wax motor to test, then actuated the switch to test the switch contacts. Was ok, turned out to be a bad connection in the big power connector up front.

Removed wire and spring that secures the rubber seal around the door opening. Pulled back the rubber seal, removed the two screws that secure the door lock switch, disconnect the wires on the old switch and removed. Connected the wires on the new door lock switch, reinserted the screws that secure the switch and put the rubber seal back in place. It took approximately 5 minutes to replace the switch. I am happy to report that the washer is fully functional! Who would have guessed that replacing the door lock switch would fix the problem (final spin not functioning). Thank you appliancepartspros.com and to all of you who post their appliance problems and solutions on this web site, I could not have done it without you!
