I need to replace the door gasket on my GE built-in-oven. The gasket is on the door and appears to be set between two panels near the window glass. Is this something I can do myself because I would really like to try!

Thanks!

You have to remove the door from the oven in order to replace this part. What is the complete model number of the oven?

Gene.

Thanks for responding, sorry I didn't see the reply. It is either a GE JKP16GP or JKP17WP (based upon the user care guide that I have).

Any help would be appreciated as it is smoking up the entire house again!

You can find the complete model number on the oven door frame.
