The Whirlpool elec dryer (M/N: WED5310SQ0 )has a very loud buzzer indicating the end of cycle, but no way to turn it off. Is there a wire inside the console that I can disconnect to disable the buzzer, or is it integral with some board?

The buzzer relay is located inside the console. It should be the only component that has no connection to the face of the console. Usually it is black, and has a wire attached to it. Just disconnect the wire and tape the terminal so that it doesn't come into contact with anything inside the console.
