I have the same model being discussed - FMV156DBB. Any thoughts on next steps?

I finally broken down and called a repairman. The door switches were the problem, but none of them had failed. They just needed adjusting. $110 later, and we have the popcorn maker back.

please please help me. i have Model FMV156DBB over range microwave and turn table wont start and no heat, light comes on and punching numbers work i can punch numbers and it starts counting. can you please tell me how to test door switches i have tested them and i have little knowledge about this stuff they seem to work but i am scared, i am doing it wrong. what should be readings on this switches? thank you 270 792 8810 thats my phone number if you have time please call me.

If you do not feel comfortable testing the microwave, the best way is to call a pro.

The top and one of the bottom switches are Normally Open, what means there should be continuity between their terminals with the door closed and no continuity with the door open. The third switch is the monitor switch and it is Normally Closed. The readings on it should be opposite.
