Hello,
The oven is not heating up. The base element is not heating up. The broiler element does work. All I hear is a humming sound when we turn the oven on. I did try to reset the breaker, but that did not correct the problem.

Carefully pull the Bake heating element out until you can get to the wire terminals and inspect the wires connected to the element. Possible one of them is burned out. If this is correct, fix it.

Disconnect the wires from the heating element and check the element for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the heating element.

If the heating element and the wires are good, the control board has to be replaced. Unfortunately this part is no longer available.
