We have a Calypso washing machine. When the wash cycle starts, water comes into the machine, but does not spray on to the clothes. The first time the clothes get wet is in the rinse cycle. Other than that it rinses, drains and spins.
We have replaced the control board and the control panel. Now it does not turn itself on whenever it feels like it in the middle of the night. No more beep, beep at 2 am.
We are thinking that the water level switch and/or the motor control board might help. Are we looking at the right area? Any ideas? We welcome any feedback.
Thanks - Carol

Usually the washing machines just fill with water then start the wash.
Why do you think it should spray on the clothes?
Is the water just draining back out or is it being pumped out?
The operators manual says your drain hose height should be up 39 inches into the stand pipe OR have a siphon break up 28 inches from the bottom of the machine.
What height is it?

Is this a new install or has the unit run properly in the past?

Run the diagnostics. They may help narrow it down.
