I had a Sears repair man come out and tell me that it appears to be the control board. I am wondering if this part is covered under the original warranty. Model: GSS25SGRESS Serial: MG270531 purchased: 12/05

Model: GSS25SGRESS Serial: MG270531 purchased: 12/05 Mine was doing the same thing. Two capacitors were bad on the circuit board. Grand total of $2.63 to repair myself in less than an hour. Check all of the capacitors to ensure they are all flat on the top and shiny. Also check to ensure the fan and coils are clean and free from dust when you are done with the repairs. Capacitors are polarity sensitive
