My freezer has been having this issue for a couple of months now.

The ice becomes one big blob, water droplets freeze on shelving and frost builds up on the top 2 shelves. I have to pry everything apart, wash all the ice off and clean out the frost. The ice bucket is frozen inside and on the bottom.

After I clean out everything, I will turn my ice maker back on - it will make ice fine. Then sometime several hours later, maybe the next day, the freezer will begin to show frost build up, the ice begins to freeze together and the shelves have frozen water droplets on them.

Infact, its going through the process now, the droplets on the shelf edges are water.

Attached are pictures, however, since I just cleaned it a couple of days ago - the frost build up has not returned.

Turn the water off to the fridg, clear out the ice, then see if it clears up.
